Posted: 28 Feb 2012 07:08 PM PST

The official introduction of the iPad 3 is bearing down upon us, with most rumors placing the Apple press event on March 7 (and a little rumor we heard placing it on March 6). It'll probably have a higher-resolution 2048×1536 "retina" display, a 1GHz quad-core Apple A6 processor, 4G connectivity, and it might have a few other surprises, too.

This exclusive infographic is created by the experts at AYTM Research (Ask Your Target Market), with help from Mashable.

SEOptimise Monthly Newsletter
2011 was a busy and exciting year here at SEOptimise. The year saw us grow at a rapid rate, with a new London office, lots of new staff, lots of big new clients, numerous speaker slots at the industry’s biggest conferences and a blogging award under our belt! We’ve also been adapting to some huge developments in the online marketing industry as a whole, so keep reading for SEOptimise’s 2011 highlights and a look ahead to this year…

Highlights from the SEOptimise blog

January was another busy month for the SEOptimise blog, with all the SEOptimise team writing posts. Here were the most popular:

SEOptimise opens in London!

One of the biggest bits of news for 2011 was the opening of our new London office, marking SEOptimise’s expansion into the capital. Our head office is still in Oxford, but with many of our clients based in London it made sense to have an additional office. Our brand new office is in Paddington Station.

The SEOptimise blog wins Best Blog at the UK Search Awards

We were extremely proud to be presented with the award for Best Blog at the inaugural UK Search Awards back in October. We’ve poured all our energy and enthusiasm into building up our blog, and it’s great to have that effort recognised with an award. Click here to get the latest from the SEOptimise blog.

The new and improved SEOptimise team

2011 saw the addition of many new members of staff to SEOptimise as the business continues to grow. On the Search Team we’ve now got Daniel Bianchini, Pak Hou Cheung and Gillian Cook working on SEO, and Shaad Hamid and Tamsin Mehew working on PPC. Over in Business Development, the (now not so) new faces are Daniel Braddock and Carla Nadin, whom some of you may already have met at Internet World last year. Last but not least, Nick Clarke joined the team in January as a copywriter. You can see photos of the SEOptimise team members new and old on our Meet the SEOptimise Team page, and you can expect to see everyone out and about at exhibitions and conferences in 2012!

The 2012 conference circuit

We love attending and speaking at conferences, and this year will be  no exception. Look out for us at SES, SMX, A4UExpo, SasCon, LinkLove, SearchLove, BrightonSEO and many more. SearchLove was a particular favourite with the Search Team last year, and Kevin and Stuart even made it over to PubCon in Las Vegas!

Industry updates

The world of Search is continually evolving, but 2011 was a year of particularly major change, which every last SEO has had to adapt to in order to stay in the game. The most significant change was undoubtedly the infamous Panda update, which prompted some big SEO strategy changes across the industry. With the increasing importance of social signals, the rolling out of SSL search, the launch of Google+ and Search Plus Your World, and other smaller but still significant changes such as the freshness update and the removal of Yahoo Site Explorer, it’s been a challenge staying abreast of all the latest developments! But that’s what makes SEO such a great industry to work in – we’re always kept on our toes and our knowledge is always growing and adapting. What could 2012 have in store?
