Hitting the Road with the Secretary of Education

For the third year in a row, the team at the U.S. Department of Education has gone on a back-to-school bus tour. This year, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan led a coast-to-coast trip to drive home the message that education matters.

The Secretary and senior leaders at the Department of Education attended nearly 100 events in 10 days to talk about early learning, student health, struggling schools, and more. Secretary Duncan even managed to get in a little dancing with students at one elementary school in Denver, Colorado.

Learn more about the trip and check out a photo slideshow.
