Shocking French Ad Posted: 27 Oct 2010 12:28 AM PDT This French ad was made by a 35-year-old graphic designer Tanja Kiewitz and who also posed for a photo. Let's see why this ad campaign was successful and captured so much attention. LOOK ME IN THE EYES… I SAID MY EYES… Bottom phrase: So that a handicap no longer means that you are handicapped. * * * * * * * * * Tanja Kiewitz was born with her left arm ending just below her elbow. She created the ad for CAP48, a nonprofit organization that highlights disability issues in France and Belgium. "They see that I am above all a woman and can be beautiful and sexy, and that disability is secondary," Kiewitz said. "I wanted people to confront the ambiguity of beauty and disability." Nice idea and a great statement!
