The Dark Knight Rises Filming in New York

Christian Bale and Tom Hardy were both spotted on the New York set of The Dark Knight Rises over the weekend. A clash between Gotham City Police and escaped inmates from Arkham Asylum, led by Bane (Hardy), footage shows hundreds of extras duking it out at a smoke-filled intersection until the sound of air-horns signal the end of the take.

Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie in his Batman trilogy, opens in theaters on July 20, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Josh Stewart, Christopher Judge, Adam Rodriguez and Rob Brown.

These are all the results of a Cisco survey of 2,800 college students and young professionals worldwide. The survey had a number of questions that make good cocktail party trivia (one-third of students think the Internet is as important as food, air and water) and are rather less impressive the more you consider them (the vast majority, after all, don't believe that for a moment).

Rockstar Games has officially released the trailer for its next open-world video game that is sure to be full of cars, guns and illegal substances — Grand Theft Auto V.

The games takes place in modern-day Southern California in the city of Los Santos (a clear rendition of Los Angeles and surrounding areas).

Designer Kiseung Lee of Helsinki wants people to fill stockings with more vital gifts this Christmas: donations to the blood bank. His conceptual stocking-shaped blood packs were on show as part of Helsinki Design Week in September, although they were filled with red pigment rather than actual blood.
