Your Daily Snapshot for Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011   "In America, We Are Greater Together" Yesterday, a little more than a century after Teddy Roosevelt outlined a vision for a "New Nationalism" in Osawatomie, Kansas, President Obama visited the same community. The President spoke about what he called a make-or-break moment for the middle class, and laid out his view for the country: It is a view that says in America we are greater together -- when everyone engages in fair play and everybody gets a fair shot and everybody does their fair share.
