Skiing Witches Race in Belalp, Switzerland

Participants ski in the 30th edition of the Belalp Witches Ski Race on January 14, 2012 in Belalp, Switzerland. The race is inspired by a legend dating back to the middle ages, of a witch who tormented villagers in the area until she was burnt to death.

The downhill at Belalp is a fun event called "Hexenabfahrt" (downhill of the witches) and many of the 1,500 participants race down the 12km slope long in colorful costumes.

What if the movies of today were made in an earlier era? Who would star? Who would direct? What would the poster look like? Artist Peter Stults ran with that idea and came up with some wonderfully creative and thoughtful posters based on recent movies. How about a black and white version of The Hangover, recast with members of the Rat Pack? Or Trainspotting as a new wave masterpiece by Jean-Luc Godard.

On Monday, Facebook is all moved in to its new headquarter complex in Menlo Park, the former home of Sun Microsystems. Facebook's 57-acre campus currently houses some 2,000 employees, but has the potential to comfortably accommodate nearly 9,000 workers as the company looks to grow rapidly in the coming years.

The company has come a long way from Mark Zuckerberg's Harvard dorm room in 2004, having taken up roots in Palo Alto and now moving to their new 1601 Willow Road address.
