This new meme obviously comes from Japan and is apparently most popular among schoolgirls. But it is spreading so fast that everyone seems to pick up on this new craze from Japan.

Ellis the Hawk

Great story of Ellis the Hawk.

A giant nest fell out of our tree; there's a dead baby hawk underneath

A second baby hawk. Poor guy, he never had a chance

We found this little guy under a different tree the next day

His "you're getting too close" face

"Leave me alone!"

Looking dapper in the sunset

He couldn't fly yet. Good thing my dogs aren't as vicioius as they look!

Getting bigger!

Puffy chest

Growing up - Baby duck on the menu!

My second favorite picture

My favorite picture

Finally able to fly up to the neighbor's playground

Right outside our back door

This is our last pic of Ellis. We haven't seen him since, but when we see a hawk flying up above, we like to think it's him

Posted: 01 Apr 2013 12:10 PM PDT

The United States is home to world's most extensive system of protected public lands—the U.S. National Park System. The system includes more than 450 natural, historical, recreational, and cultural areas throughout the United States, its territories, and island possessions—more than 84 million acres in total. As you can imagine, this vast system of parks, memorials, and monuments requires expertly coordinated management on a national scale.

OnlineMPADegrees.com and MPA@UNC collaborated on this infographic to raise awareness of the scope and history our National Parks.
