Paris Has Removed Thousands Of Padlocks From The Pont des Arts Bridge

The Pont des Arts bridge is one of the most romantic landmarks in the world but Paris is now removing all the infamous love locks from the bridge. The city was concerned that the weight of all the locks was putting too much stress on the bridge and decided to remove them all. City workmen spent a lot of time using bolt cutters to remove the locks and even took out sections of the fences to haul them away.
